Tobogganing Run Westendorf

The 7,5 km long tobogganing run leads from the Talkaser mountain into the nature paradise of the Windau valley. You can reach the starting point with the Alpenrosen cable car. Right at the summit station you can start your adventure right away! Along the skiing - and tobogganing run you will pass the Fleidingalm and ride through a couple of challenging curves until the Schrandlhof. From there you can take taxi buses right back to the town free of charge (between 1 pm and 5 pm every full hour).

Day- and night toboggan run at the Gaisberg mountain - fun for the entire family! The spectacular run at the Gaisberg is truly famous within the region! It is the only run which has been awarded the seal of approval for nature tobogganing runs. The 4-seats lift takes you up to the starting area fast and easy. The 3,5 km long run is also lit at night.

Operating Hours:
During the day: daily 9 am - 4 pm
During the night: Tuesday to Saturday, 6.30 pm - 9.30 pm
The run is illuminated until 11 pm!

The secret tipp for all tobogganing fans - the Brixenbach trail in Brixen im Thale. A marvelous winter hiking trail which leads right up to the traditional "Brixenbachalm" and which is prepared on a daily basis. The 3,5 km long trail back into the valley is perfect for a tobogganing trip! Toboggans can be rented at the alpine hut. You can even make use of the shuttle service via tractor if you do not want to walk the way up to the hut. Please make reservations at the hut beforehand, since there is only limited space at the restaurant. The Brixenbachalm is open daily!
