For over 350 years, high-quality fruit brandies, schnapps and liqueurs have been produced here with a wealth of experience and passion, using select fruits and regional ingredients.
On an exciting guided tour of the demonstration distillery, you’ll learn all about the journey from fruit to the finished fine brandy. Afterwards, a tasting session invites you to discover the multi-award-winning specialities. In the lovingly furnished shop, you’ll also find numerous regional delicacies and special souvenirs.

Kasplatzl Demonstration Dairy
Delicious cheese from our own production

Just a 20-minute drive from Westendorf lies the Kasplatzl demonstration cheese dairy in the idyllic Spertental valley near Aschau. Here, you can experience traditional cheese-making first-hand and watch the cheesemakers at work. Fresh alpine milk is transformed into delicious cheese and dairy specialities through a great deal of manual labour and passion.
As well as the demonstration cheese dairy, you’ll find a cosy alpine tavern serving regional specialities, a farm shop with homemade products, and a small play area for children. If you’d like, you can combine your visit with a leisurely walk through the beautiful Spertental Nature Reserve – past a waterfall and an impressive suspension bridge.

Kufstein Fortress
High above the city’s rooftops

Just about 30 minutes’ drive from Westendorf, the imposing Kufstein Fortress towers over the old town. On a tour through the historic walls, you’ll discover fascinating exhibitions, the Emperor’s Tower, old casemates and the famous ‘Heroes’ Organ’, whose sound carries far beyond the town every day.
The fortress combines history, culture and stunning views over the Inn Valley, and is a worthwhile destination whatever the weather.
